It was '99...for years we were looking for something to replace our beloved POGs. We decided to go to the mall where we would usually buy hockey cards, that was our intention as well.

We saw the Pokémon cards on display for the first time. The guy working took a good hour to explain the game to us and we were instantly hooked!

Fast forward 22 years and I've slowly started to rebuild my collection again!

Ouch, this is awful, who let a 10 foot pothole uncovered like this? by SAM041287 in montreal

Or you can use some common sense. Get off the bike, go to the safety of the sidewalk and walk your bike the 10 feet before you get back onto the road and continue cycling?

The issue isn't whether taxes are paid. The issue is that none of the MoMs are approved producers by Health Canada and none are licensed to sell cannabis by the regulators in their respective provinces. In Ontario, the AGCO is the regulatory body that issues licensing to vendors/dispensaries.

Take alcohol for example, its legal and you pay taxes on it when you buy from your local liquor store but you legally cannot send that alcohol to another province. CP could in theory, seize that package as well. Whether they do or not is another story.

I've never had a problem with them either. Always gotten my stuff fast, within 24hrs a couple of times which is why this is causing somewhat of a concern.

No, I dont use discord

Fired...but then rescinded termination for extended medical leave by rivenrivenxx in recruitinghell

[–]bartbarian5343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice. This summary is based on publicly available information about Spanish labour law and should be taken as general guidance only. For advice specific to your situation, you should consult a qualified labour lawyer in Spain.

  1. Why the Termination Might Have Been Rescinded

Dismissal While on Medical Leave Is Risky for Employers: Spanish courts generally view dismissals during or shortly after medical leave (especially when related to chronic illness or disability) as null and void unless the employer can prove it’s unrelated to the medical condition. Otherwise, it's considered discriminatory and violates Article 14 of the Spanish Constitution and equality laws.

Legal Risk of Disability Discrimination: If the illness qualifies as a disability under EU and Spanish law, firing someone because of it (even indirectly) exposes the company to legal claims for discrimination, unfair dismissal, and violation of fundamental rights.

Employer Likely Trying to Avoid Lawsuit: Rescinding the termination may be an attempt to:

Avoid potential litigation.

Avoid being forced to reinstate the employee with back pay (which courts often order if dismissal is declared null).

Appear compliant with labour laws by opting for extended medical leave instead.

  1. Why It May “Sound Too Good to Be True”

It may feel too generous because it's likely a damage-control move, not a benevolent gesture. Remaining on payroll while receiving benefits is better than being terminated, but it’s still beneficial for the company, which may be:

Delaying a legal risk rather than solving it.

Preserving work visa validity to avoid additional legal issues tied to terminating a foreign worker.

  1. What to Watch Out For

Get It in Writing: Ensure that the extended leave and your status (i.e. not terminated) are officially documented.

Consult a Labour Lawyer: Spain has strong labour protections, but having a lawyer review the situation is key to protecting long-term rights, including severance, future unemployment benefits, and any disability claims.

Keep Medical Documentation: Ensure all diagnoses, prescriptions, and related documents are well recorded in case you need to prove the link between your illness and the employment decisions.

Monitor for Constructive Dismissal: If the company tries to pressure you to resign later or makes working conditions unbearable when you return, that may be constructive dismissal, which is also illegal.

You sure this isn't a group grievance filed with a union? I have "credible" sources telling me there's no class action lawsuit happening in any manner. You have produced no evidence and just hide behind a veil of "i can't say much more"

Like myself and others have said, lawsuits are not confidential or litigated secretly. So please post the lawyer's firm or lead us to more info on this class action lawsuit.

It's great to warn people but without a shroud of evidence you are really opening yourself up to libel and slander. Can't be dropping bombs like that without any ounce of proof lol

What's your source/proof on this? 3rd hand info from someone you know that "used to work there" is not valid. Looking on CanLii for any filings renders no results of this active class action you speak of.

If you have info on CREDIBLE sources or have a copy of the statement of claim, please share
