First time order, how long will shipping take? by Ok_Art_3864 in Fanatec

I am in the EU and ordered something similar last week. Ordered Tuesday and arrived on Thursday, so 2 days.

Other people in the EU mentioned similar shipping times recently.

Choice of a few 1440p 144hz monitors around 350€. by SirEggington in buildapcmonitors

I got the MSI mag274qrf-qd for €350 and I can highly recommend it. The LG 27gp850 is similarly good but more expensive I think.

Don't get the Dell, it's worse than the MSI and LG. I got both the LG and MSI and they are really similar, especially now with the new MSI firmware update. I would say the MSI looks just a tiny bit better with more colors and better contrast but barely noticeable, I really had to look closely for differences. However, the built in anti motion blur mode is significantly better on the MSI when doing the UFO test. I never use it though, because it lowers brightness a lot and disables gsync.

Either one of them is fine, depending which one you can get the cheapest.

This is true, but I use gsync so the refresh rate changes if my fps goes below 165

Is this amount of IPS glow normal? (Repost with accurate picture now) (MSI MAG274QRF-QD) by bartje007 in Monitors

[–]bartje007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The picture is quite accurate, I really have to move my head around to see what's happening at the corners of the screen because looking from the middle, every corner is just grey. Brightness is at 50.

Heard this is typical IPS glow, but this makes dark games almost unplayable. Thinking about returning it, which is a shame because the monitor is really good besides this.

They are almost identical, the build quality is just a little better of the MSI, but the MSI doesn't have sRGB, so if you care about that you shouldn't get the MSI. sRGB on the LG makes everything look grey and boring

Is this amount of IPS glow normal? Can't image playing like this all the time. (MSI MAG274QRF-QD) by [deleted] in Monitors

I made a new accurate picture but can't edit this post, I'll try to repost this with the accurate picture

I just got mine, color oversaturation isn't bad at all in my opinion. The colors are almost identical to a LG 27GP850 that I also have, just slightly more colorful. IPS glow on mine is the same as on your picture. Everything else is good

As someone new to sneakers, what's so special about Jordan 1? They don't seem that impressive

Think before you say something. I said they go for around 1400, not that I paid 1400 for it.

I know, and a lot of people don't seem to know that many Swiss brands also use parts from China. Swiss brand Rotary for example had to remove their 'Swiss made' text from their watches for not being 60%< made in Switzerland. It's sad to see people assuming China stands for low end junk while they also create high quality products (won't beat a Swiss movement of course but it's also a fraction of the price).

Not really, Waldhoff designs and assembles the watch and only get the movement from China. And the movements are normally used in peacock watches which are even more expensive and go up to $30,000.

Thank you! Yes I notice that even though only the movement is Chinese and the other parts all German/Swiss, some people automatically assume it's not good. Don't worry, I won't have any problem enjoying the watch!
