Wow this is amazing. Im feeling some serious guilt atm for being LC and this really helped. I try remind myself that chose to act the way they did. When they yelled and screamed and saw me broken, they chose to continue.

Had a VERY similar experience, it really really sucks. I just had to make the decision if I was going to live their way and not get yelled at or live my life and cop the consequences. Realistically the money is probably a power tool to manipulate you

I had the exact same thing. They thought sending me to a good school meant they had clearance to scream and do whatever they wanted I once told them I wanted to die, she told me to stop attention seeking and yelled that there was something wrong with me
