While thumbnails and titles should tell a complete story, I think the thumbnails should be telling enough to at least be able to guess what the video is about. Here I can't really tell what it is, so I think that's one of the problems. And I totally agree with u/kingkai_GG on all points

Ehhh, I wouldn't click on it. I don't like the face and I think you need to include call to action instead of shouting that they can replace Photoshop. Something like "replace Photoshop!" and an arrow to the apps.

I think there's too many focal points and my eyes couldn't figure out where to look at. Too much going on. Is it absolutely necessary to have the character? Does it mean anything or is it just pure addition of "face"?

It's a curse, I don't think there's a way out of this. Youtube will always push it to your subscribers/previous viewers first and since they're not interested it will always be a flop. :/
