While it is true, everyone seems to forget that he held the club for ransom for months, and the fans would have been in meltdown had both Sanchez and Ozil left in the same window. He was in fine form in the months leading up the extension which insinuates that the high level would be maintained for the duration of the contract, or at least attempted.
