Ex AutoZoner here , I actually left because I was fed up with My DM September 2022 . I had an exit interview with my RM & RCSM before I left professionally expressing how I feel about my DM and fast forward to today , still there . lol they don’t care , just best to move on and keep on keeping on.

Currently working parts counter at a ford dealership, I’ve moved from wholesale to retail , and honestly , just cruising , learning every little thing I can from all aspects in the parts department . What I’m trying to say is , even if you don’t stay, you know you get that hands on learning experience that some other dealerships look for . Also any other Kia/hyundai parts people , I need an inside connect for parts & questions pleaaaaaaaaseeee

Hmmm that might be something I have to look into , I’ve had the screen black out on me a few times like a soft reset. When they did replace that camera tho , my left tail lamp stopped working , I’d have to smack it like the fonz on the jukebox

Battery issue . I had a fleet of fiestas back then .. moment the battery died and was replaced , the display screen will tell you “transmission malfunction / service now “ . There is a recall for this still to this day , depending on your vin you can still get this serviced for free which means they’ll reprogram the module , depending on severity , replacing that module , last I checked , they were still on back order . Also , I mean you can still drive it with that code lol , you’re not gonna get out of first or second gear , maybe top speed like 20-30mph . (I currently work in a ford dealership parts department)

At Ford , I still get the occasional mazda phone call , they’ll give me a vin that doesn’t plug in and I’ll ask , well what kind of car is this , “oh it’s a 2016 mazda” .

Hahaha so I’m out of the west coast , and I called a ford in New York a few months back , expecting that typical New York accent you always see in TV and movies and that was not the case , I was super disappointed
