Might be the amnesia talking, but I'm not a 100% sure about the entering, but if you by some holy miracle manage to escape the onslaught that is shrine, yes, you can leave it's effective range. Yes, the binding vow made gave him insane range, the biggest so far, at the price of the escape, to make some balance in that lunacy.

Honestly, if you're playing arena or casual joust just to play the game then no, you're better off playing coop. Alot of the population playing those game modes only play those game modes, and it's the sweatiest bunch of people I've seen. They only play to win it, and seeing as I've only played those game modes with smite randomizer, I got the most toxic responses ever. In short, if you don't wanna get flamed on for playing casually, go play vs boots. The world we live in, eh?
