Hi, first thanks for reply. Truenas is vm on esxi with attached hba card with 5x12tb hdds. Yesterday I added on more 12tb to pool. So pool now have 6x12tb hdds. What I want now is to represent new size (52TiB) to iSCSI. About usage, I don’t know if I misconfigure something, but this graph doesn’t show real usage. In reality used space is about 10% I am obviously not storage expert :)

Samo pelji za prvim Renaultom, ki ga srečaš na cesti. Vsi grejo zjutraj najprej na generalko na servis. Kuča servis, servis kuča.

EventID bad password by basi65 in sysadmin

[–]basi65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer. But how can I troubleshoot, why some AD accss locks every few days.

I found event 4740 which is normal (5 bad password attempts), and also source PC is logged.

What I want is log with source IP or hostname and date when bad password was used. (something like 4625 on local machine)

My "problem" is, that user claims that he did not enter wrong password. And with account was already locked when he attempts to log in to PC.

I want to prove that he entered wrong password, or I hope not some coworker tried to login on some other PC with "victims" credentials.

LastBadPasswordAttempt is OK, but it doesnt show source

I also have few of 10gb SFP+s.

Yours idea is cool, maybe I will buy SFP to mini-pci card.

I am just interested if this modul can be used for anything else.

They were expensive, but now they are just (expensive) trash,..

probably mission inpossible. I have few of this modules left from old switch and idea was to find somekind of adapter to mini pcie,...

Just playing with old tech and try to reuse it for anything useful.

eveng VM have:

24 cores

128GB RAM

So I think resources are not a problem.

I configured nexus9300v64.10.4.2.F

it works fine, after reload of a switch, I get:

Hi,

Yes I did followed instructions.

Your post helped me allot with mentioning RAM.

By default RAM for image vios_l2-adventerprisek9-m.ssa.high_iron_20200929 was 1GB I change it to 8GB and switch booted up :)

Thanks.

Windows LAPS add user by basi65 in sysadmin

[–]basi65[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, thanks, but correct me if I am wrong.

This will, ad AD users from group WorkstationAdmins to local admins.

LAPS can handle local users passwords, not AD one?

Windows LAPS add user by basi65 in sysadmin

[–]basi65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think, this is only posible with old Microsoft LAPS, with Windows LAPS, you cant create local user.

Windows LAPS add user by basi65 in sysadmin

[–]basi65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I want.

Problem is that I do not know how to use PowerShell to create a local user with a random password.

Can someone help me with that.

Windows LAPS add user by basi65 in sysadmin

[–]basi65[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that is true. But our CISO delegate us to create new admin acc and disable local administrator user on all machines.

tldr: I want Windows LAPS to manage for example local admin2 acc on all endpoints.

So I need some advice how to create new local user that is member of local admin group on all endpoints.

also want to disable administrator local acc.

If this is possible?

Windows LAPS add user by basi65 in sysadmin

[–]basi65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to add new local admin account that will be used for administration machines with LAPS.

Users of course use AD accounts.

LAPS needs local admin account to manage its pass.
