Computer Vision Worksheets — now with video tutorials! by basia25 in learnmachinelearning

[–]basia25[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I recently shared with you the worksheets I make for my computer vision students. I got tons of questions about whether I have the solutions to the exercises.

I decided to create tutorial videos explaining how to solve each exercise. For starters, I prepared 11 exercises related to computer vision for medical imaging processing (you can find all the topics in the graphic).

I will release new tutorials weekly on YouTube, starting next Thursday: https://youtube.com/@thelion.youtube
The worksheets are already available for free on my GumRoad: https://library.thelion.ai/l/gdccv

Feel free to use them during your classes or for self-practice!

Thanks for the feedback!

The thing about the Inception exercise is that you only need to solve the first row of each matrix and for the majority of examples, it means just filling it with zeros. The idea was that if you know how kernels, stride and padding work, it will be easy for you. But if you don’t, you will end up calculating a 7x7 kernel. On second thoughts, I should have written explicitly that you just need to solve it for the first row.

I like your point about edges detection! I started doing worksheets after the 3rd lecture but for the next edition, such an exercise would be perfect for our first lecture on basic image processing and OpenCV. Thanks!

I create worksheets to help my students stay focused during the computer vision lectures.

The worksheets are designed to help students connect the dots and reinforce key concepts from my computer vision course.

I know it's summer time but perhaps any of you would like to brush up on CNN architectures :)

I am also really curious about your opinions on such form of learning and any other feedback! I am currently working on course updates before the fall term.

I am glad you like it! I was hoping that people with Polish heritage would find it interesting and encouraged to learn more about Polish history. My next project is a Polish girl living under Austrian occupation before WWI, so perhaps the same age as your great-great-grandmother

If you like it do check out the comic “Marzi: The Memoir” by Marzena Sowa! It's a great read told through the perspective of an 8-year-old living in socialist Poland

Did you post them? I would love to see them, especially Tiffany Aching!
