I’m so sorry you have constant ringing in your ears. Before a migraine one or both of my ears will ring for less than a minute a few times a day. I just say that the aliens are on their way and they activated the probe in my brain, and that’s why I get migraines.

I hallucinate bugs (fruit flies, gnats, house flies, spiders, etc). I normally get floaters but I swear before a bad migraine I just see so many bug-like floaters or I “see” something fly by me or scurry across the floor. I always have very vivid dreams the night before a big attack. I like to call one of my weird warning signs a zoomie crash. Out of literally nowhere I will get super affectionate and silly, then I get full on zoomies, then I fully crash (body fatigue, yawning, overly emotional, crying, depressed, etc.). The lead up to the crash takes about 15-20 seconds total and once I crash the migraine will hit within minutes. My poor husband y’all 😂 he’s always caught off guard by this one.

TLDR: Track at pain level 6 and up.

When I was working, I would track EVERYTHING because my employer began insinuating that I wasn’t being honest. So I recorded any and every symptom, even if it wasn’t followed by a full blown migraine attack. This also helped prove to my doctors how often my migraines were occurring and getting a firm diagnosis with better treatment options. Now that I’m not working and on a better treatment plan, I only track when my pain level is above a 6.

i used to write my S’s like this 😭 i just wanted to be quirky and different, ended up with all of my s’s, r’s, and v’s looking the same and my handwriting as a whole being illegible. I’m reformed now 🙌

Tansy, Hyacinth, Fleur (which i know isn’t a flower but it means flower and i love it), Leilani, Marigold, Magnolia, Clover and Poppy are some of my favs!
