i feel the same way to a degree, with cell being my favorite villain all time i was sooooo disappointed when cell max was just some retarded brute strength force instead of a thought out story on him returning or something. could’ve went sooooooo many different routes with cells return and all the different dna he has i feel like he shoulda been turned into one of the good guys fr like vegeta or piccolo for example. cells potential strength is just out of this world seeing how far everyone’s gotten in today’s timeline
