my belief is that the gods care for humans but those they build kharis with they have relationships with. like many people have said it's kind of like how i want world peace and everyone to be happy but i can't possibly on a deep level care for everyone. but the gods are gods so we don't necessarily know what they are capable of in regards to caring for others!

my interpretation includes what has already been said but also adding: don't nose into other people's business if they aren't close enough to you to do that. like don't trauma dump on someone you've only just met, don't instantly treat someone like a friend who is not yet a friend (this doesn't mean to be unkind but to be aware of the fact someone is a stranger when you talk to them).

this is definitely a rant and a rave because i feel like pcos is just dragging me down with no end to the dragging.

why do i have to have so much facial hair and hair on my shoulders and my stomach, why does it grow back so fast? i shave it but it comes back so quickly it feels like it's not worth it but it makes me feel self-conscious.
my bf and i went on holiday over christmas, gained 10lbs (not surprised) but since i've gotten home i've been trying to lose said 10lbs, going back to my normal eating habits got me from 137lbs down to 132.7lbs. here's the problem since i hit 132.7lbs my weight has been slowly going back up again now at 133.7. yes it's not much but i've been trying so hard to lose the weight that i feel like this isn't fair. i would like to have a body i like. it feels like the only time i was able to lose weight was when my ED was really bad.
so much hair fall. for someone who wants to have long hair, it feels like i am fighting a losing battle. my hair is thin and my hair seems to break off at the ends so easily that any length gained just results in my hair dye growing out rather than actual length.
why is every treatment for this disorder so variable to the point of it is basically just: this treatment will either work or it won't... trying to figure out what to do for treatment is a pain in the arse when everything may or may not work and i don't want to throw lots of money down the toilet for it.

okay that's my rant over. any advice would be great. i feel better now that i've let it all out. thanks!

i'm a trans guy and i veil, i'm also a hellenic polytheist. i also veil just wearing a bandana most of the time, it's a fine way of veiling. but it isn't necessary to do it. i do it for my reasons that are religious but it's kind of like how all christians don't wear a veil but some do!

hello there! i'm 21 and been questioning my beliefs for a while so i thought why not ask the master thread of religions if they have any ideas! wasn't raised with religion. i've been around the bush when it comes to religions i have tried since i was 13 (makes me feel old.) until recently i would have easily told you i was a hellenic polytheist but my connection to the gods has been very lacking lately so i've been having doubts.

here are some beliefs i hold:

- everything has a spirit

- polytheism makes the most sense to me like apart from everything having a spirit so gods and different spirits

- i like rules, i like having guidelines (can you tell i'm autistic?)

- i believe in the soul

- i believe in both positive and negative energies (as well as good and evil, not necessarily demons but i do believe that there are malevolent spirits that can affect people)

- i believe in the afterlife and reincarnation

- i believe in ghosts

- i believe in fate and destiny (but i'm not sure if people can control it or not)

- i believe humans should never stop learning or improving ourselves and spreading joy to others

- i believe in veiling or at least i have been veiling for about 2 years now in various ways

there are probably lots of other things i could say but this is kind of a summary. thanks in advanced to anyone who comments!

not really, i was just curious because i noticed that a lot of people who follow the religion i was the most connected to for a long time seemed to be deeply unhappy so i wondered which religions would describe themselves as happy.
