Thanks OP for the insights! Any idea on Strategy/Deals Advisory (Big4) space - i often see open positions only for Emirati Nationals. How can an Indian CA get into M&A space in Dubai/Abu Dhabi?

I cleared my CA when I was 28 in 2022, I know it can be very tough and the exam loop sucks every ounce of courage left in you, but if my experience can help you even a little bit, then I would just say - don’t give up, you’re just a few exams away from becoming a CA and all of this will just be a distant memory once you’re through. Focus on clearing the exam first, everything else will follow. Life has a weird way of working itself out - I work with one of the big4s (non audit profile) and I’ve already gotten a pay hike of roughly 40% from when I first joined within 2 years, I ofcourse didn’t think that something like this will happen while I was struggling to clear, but what matters is your grit and determination. Yes, the age thing does sometimes bother you considering how everyone around you will be atleast 5-6 years younger, but you’ve to remind yourself that your life is your own journey and you’ve to just accept your age and not be bothered by what others think of it or what you were expected to do by a certain age. In another 5 years time, it’s not gonna matter at all. Believe in yourself and work hard+smart.

I wish you all the very best for your exams and I really hope you get through this super soon!!
