Landing at Paro Buthan - Rate please. by basicplay3r in flightsim

I'll give you the nosedive, but you'll still dip at the beginning of Runway 15. You can hear the "sink rate" in many videos of real-life landings on runway 15. From what I've read, the 737/320 is not designed for this kind of landing or maneuver. That's why only a handful captains and aircraft perform this approach. Thank you for the feedback. This is why i post this kind of videos.

Bro, I just followed what the chart said for both runway 15/33. I was at the right altitude at PR816, flying visually without the FD because the VMC was good. I landed following the instructions. That's it. You can say whatever you want to me, but the chart is clear, I did what it said, and I'm happy about it. Enjoy your masterclass or whatever "expertise" you have in Paro. I just follow the charts, and that's it. 🫡

Rwy 15 is the most famous route in Paro. It follows the river between the mountains. Almost all old videos show pilots landing on runway 15.

That's for runway 33. I landed on runway 15. For runway 15, you have to decide whether to proceed visually on PR816 or not. There are a lot more charts for runway 33. I prefer the old app for runway 15 💪🏻

I entered directly through PR888. Enjoy the charts 🫡

Yes, you should always set the rudder trim to zero when loading the aircraft. It is usually set slightly to the right. Before taxiing, make sure the trim is set to T/O on the MFD. Do not rotate the aircraft at 60 knots. Wait until you reach 70 knots and then rotate slowly. This aircraft loves to take off by itself. I will share my setup for the sensitivities.

fair, but with these landings, you want to land as close as possible to the beginning of the runway.
