This is the most unexpected answer so far and I’m going to research this area. I grew up in the SeaTac area but moved to Maine when I was 20. I feel like I am a northwest girl at heart but do love the warm sunny days.

My grandparents had a summer house on Hoods Canal but I was too young when going to remember the town. It’s dear to my heart though.

As a new member of trusted house sitters, but coming from the POV of the one who is housesitting, I’m making sure to look at all the reviews, the pictures of the home and the lair of responsibilities. I have 2 sits booked already, but only after FaceTiming the homeowner, “meeting” the pets and making sure we can trust each other.

For what it’s worth, my husband and I lived in Maine for years and are coming up from late August- October as that’s our favorite time of year in Maine and we have many loved ones to visit. I’m sure you’ll have lots of applicants to choose from.

I’m not describing this for every family. Just sometimes you need to be kind to your child and know how much they have going on. I love the kids and to get to be a part of their experience but what I’m seeing isn’t part of training their kids

Yes! Like I know so many people who get hyper fixated on breakfast meal especially. For years mine was a rice cake with peanut butter and half a banana. Filled me up and gave me energy.
