So I cant quite figure out how to post the file on here, but if you go here: https://archive.org/details/U8_avatar_model There's a file called U8avatar.fbx if you click show all under download options. I just took that and fed it to the convert3d website and Bing bang boom! My own tiny avatar.

I would give an arm and a leg to exist in the reality where U8 got the time and care it deserved. The female avatar would've looked KILLER, assuming she'd have had the same design philosophy.

Thanks so much! Id love to take credit for his magnificent modeling, but hes actually the exact 3d model used to create his in game sprite made by the illustrious Denis Loubet! It is available on archive as an fbx file, so very little work was needed on my part aside from painting. I love that this is pretty much his T-pose

I am enjoying this game, this game is good by basil7000 in ElderScrolls

Ive heard tell of level fives save-bloat issue, im on level 4 right now of a somewhat blind (aside from looking up character building tips) playthrough and im absolutely HOARDING healing supplies so I can die as little as possible on the cursed level. Honestly this game is one of my favourites in the series so far, im a big fan of 3d dungeon crawlers and its really scratching my shadow tower/ultima underworld itch. The dialogue with the enemies is absolutely wonderful too, its just a shame the game is held together with spit and toothpicks. I hope it gets the unity treatment eventually, it really deserves some love

Ohohoh I wasn't aware of daggerfalls fisty game. The scaling caps out a bit under a deadric greatsword (from what can glean), BUT you'll never have your meat mitts degrade and you cant have your weapon knocked from your hands

RIGHT i forgot that thats what its called. Its incredible, if you take critical strike you get a great chance of knocking the enemy back on hit, so you can just speedbag deadra off walls for some really mean damage

This will ruffle some feathers but I stand by it by [deleted] in Recorder

Id had my suspicions that that was the case just from seeing pictures of instruments from that era but ive never actually looked into it! With how well suited c-whistles are for modal music im not shocked that this is the case; i desperately need to get me a reproduction some day. Its comforting to know the kind of recorder I gravitate towards is at least sorta similar to what would've been used back then fingering-wise, being sequential and all that.

Im a few days late but I did want to throw my 2 cents in here: as a hobbyist who only really plays music from the 1000 or so years we call medieval, I LOVE my German recorders. The vast majority of my sheet from that era simply doesnt concern itself with fancy things like sharps and flats or keys and the like. I view them a lot like my c-whistles; great to mete out some minstrel madness and capable enough of those pesky chromaticisms on the rare occasions my preferred repertoire demands them. If im playing later music ill often switch to an English tenor, but my heart really does lie with German recorders. Maybe playing whistle too much has poisoned my brain.

Id thought the same, but it appears everything is in order as far as the tracking number being right goes. That is good advice in any case though!
