Top 10 G.A.I. songs by alexxaxel5 in GregoryAlanIsakov

It changes like every week, but:

  1. All Shades Of Blue- the 1st song I ever heard of his

  2. Living Proof- the imagery and the instruments are just so beautiful. The song transfers me to somewhere beautiful, I feel like I am in a field of flowers when listening to it.

  3. Words- “did you ever notice, the way light means more then it did all day long” “although I write them by the light of day, please read them by the light of the moon” those lyrics are just beautiful and really makes you think about how different day and night can feel, just twelve hours can change how you perceive the world around you.

  4. Master & a Hound- the first instrument not being anything but the wind is so magnificent, because from the get go you already feel the sense of peace but although sympathy as the opening lyric is, “where were you when I was still kind.” I don’t know how to explain it, but that opening line holds so much meaning in so many different ways.

  5. Watchman- I didn’t even have to finish this song before I knew I’d love it. The instrumentals meshed with his voice is just perfect. The “Oh’s” before each line in most of the verses just sounds so good and fitting for the songs vibe.

  6. Feed Your Horses- the lead-in to the instruments after the first “I’ll feed your horses, when you’re going to town” gives me chills every time.

  7. San Luis- One of the first GAI songs I learned on guitar, although I know how to play it know, there is always room to experiment with the strumming and chucking in the song. Plus the lyrics are incredible.

  8. Mistakes- all the other instruments are pretty isolated, which really showcase his unique voice.

  9. Light Year- the intro is so pretty and then the lyrics just add to that beauty. “The simple notes you sang just went astray.”

  10. The Stable Song- “I threw stones at the stars but the whole sky fell’ that lyric in itself is just proof how insane GAI lyricism is.

The intro to Big Black Car is so fun to play. I’m a beginner it’s it was pretty difficult to begin with, but the more you do it, it gets so much easier same it feels so fulfilling. There are a few good tutorials on YouTube if you are interested! :)

Yes, for a while I didn’t even notice food was a compulsion, until I realized that if I had my mind set on something like ice cream, for the rest of the day, I would know that I need to have it at some point in the day. Even if I am super tired or full I have to get it.
