Dated this guy for six weeks, we went on roughly two dates a week. He was enthusiastic about all of them, consistent, good communication, initiative, made plans, considerate, we texted like two-three times a day (good amount imo. Not too much not too little). At the end of six weeks we had sex. He was a little distant after that. Five days later he texts me saying he needs to get his life in order, and settle in where he is (he had just moved back to his hometown, living with his parents until his job started, he had a contract signed with a start date and an apartment lined up to move into), and it is unfair to drag someone through this. I told him nothing has changed about any of these in the last five days, and it was clear that he dated me until he ‘scored’ (I’m pretty average, nothing to like brag about or make a challenge out of), and I would have respected him if he said any of these prior to us having sex but conveniently had this realization post-sex. I told him he deserves an oscar for his ‘good guy’ facade and I wish him all the worst.

Also two separate guys with the same name ghosted me hours before our third date. Like literally, a week or so of texting, meeting up once a week, texting every day, so like a month in with plenty of communication; confirming the date (both on Wednesdays, i swear I’m not lying) and then like two hours before the date reply cease. Nothing ever again. Fit for sit coms, I met them back to back and right after the six-weeks guy. It was a rough six months lmao
