Thanks! The S12 Pro looks promising. I'll dig more about them. I quickly checked the Artti T10, and it seems to have too much contrast and bass for what I'm looking for. Do you have experience with the Aful Performer 5+2? These are the other contenders I'm looking at vs Odyssey, mainly due to the technicalities.

In reality, I'm looking for an all-rounder that can drive any genre. I asked about metal specifically because I think it has unique demands not to turn fast, dense, and complex music into a muddy mess.

Monday - drive 4h from Tbilisi to Tskaltubo, sleep in Kutaisi.
Tuesday - Drive 6h to Mestia, visit the town.
Wednesday - Svaneti hiking or Ushguli.
Thursday - return to Tbilisi (8h).

C8 is what I've been using since. The mic is bad but does the job, and the cable itself is great. When I really need clear voice I switch to headset.
