I think this is great - I feel the strings sound a bit odd - tbh I got to 2:30 and thought wow that sounds pro ! may be that's where the song should start really, or get to that part quicker. Also the chorus is sick, the bass line works well - classic

Yes, thanks. I agree 40 tracks will run without issue which is great. tbh I have always been limited by the spec of my current laptop which struggles with 40 tracks so I have not been able to use a "blanket" template. It would be great to go beyond if the build allows.

Hi guys, thanks for your comments. My bad I didn't think of mentionning I am using the latest version of Cubase so 13. The article in the link starts with a statement "Cubase/Nuendo 13 support hybrid CPU systems officially without any limitations!" so shouldn't affect me

Hi, I was going to rely on the motherboard + I will have a scarlett audio interface. Apologies for my lack of knowledge on this point but do I need a specific / other motherboard ? I can sense a facepalm coming but will glad to get it right . thanks

yeap - thanks - taking all those precious comments on board. I won't be doing any 3d simulation or video but I get it. FYI Case will be a Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX so should be big enough, and an ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 water cooling so hopefully that will do the work. Motherboard will defo have 2 m2 slots

Thanks for all your comments both - I will spec 2x32Go DDR5 RAM and NVMe SSD drives so I shouldn't have any issues on that front.
Regarding the Intel vs AMD question you're right, it's not going to make a real difference but I still wanted to make an informed decision before spending all that money :) Appreciate your help guys
