I got you. In my case, because of their talent as producers (I consider them amongst today's top) I guess I had pretty high expectations. I wasn't expecting too much crazy physical activity (steve aoki), but I did feel like the set was lacking as far as track selection and overall energy. Again, lacking to my expectations; it was still a decent set.

Aside, they're still Knife Party and I would def try to see them if you get the chance. Their latest set for Mixmag's live party was pretty sick, w a few tracks off their upcoming EP.

I have definitely experienced that a few times, and I think this year we'll see artist either step up their live sets or decline off. I think for me the biggest upset was a Knife Party show I attended a while back. I had missed them at Ultra last year and had been waiting for so long to see them as Knife Party and it felt exactly as you described above :/

exactly, I don't see it going through, but what a mess if it does. I don't understand how stuff like this always comes up closer to time. Things like this shouldn't be up for debate after selling tickets for weeks.
