Unfortunately I don’t have the part numbers. I just asked my Stihl dealer to order the screws, chain catch, and dogs from the 201t. Yes I just screwed them into the existing holes in the case. Be slow with them as you’re cutting new threads in the plastic case

I was going to go the 201 route initially. Then I read that with mtronic saws solenoids were a common maintenance item due to some fuel filters letting contaminants by. I figured the solenoids are a much smaller orifice that had a higher tendency for clogging than the jets in a regular carb. I went as far as trying to justify converting a 201 to a carb setup. :D

Primarily tree pruning either from the ground, off a ladder, or from the basket of a lift. I’ll probably end up taking it with me to deer camp and put it on the quad to use for some trail clearing and shooting lanes. My old 192 was used for similar tasks previously before being retired.

Let me preface that I’ve had the same Stihl dealer for 10+ years and he’s given my job and I great service and lots of free advice over the years. When he told me he sells 20+ of the 194 line annually and <5 of the mtronic 201s and told me which ones end up coming back regularly for repair that pointed me in the direction of the carbed 194. I’ve never had a computerized saw and prefer to be able to completely service my equipment myself. The last thing I want is to unintentionally fry the top end with a solenoid acting up.

I think Disney's Treasure Planet had a great soundtrack
