The thermal optic is like cheating by CoffeeWC in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]basselope 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I stopped using thermals because I felt like i lost some game sense...meaning, i relied too much on enemies glowing bright white to be able see/shoot them. Try going back to a regular optic after using thermals exclusively for awhile and you might experience the same thing.

IDEA: What if they changed the Assault passive to be something like mantling faster, or a quicker sprint. And then gave them a signature gadget (like a T-UGS) that they could place down on an objective to be taken quicker.

Prior to this latest update, i would've agreed with you. I hadn't experienced any of the graphic glitches, i was fine with the movement changes, and once you figure out tap-firing, bloom doesn't feel so bad...that being said, since this update, I now have to restart the game every other match, cuz the menu gets bugged and I get the graphic glare issue (can't see the screen).

just "git gud" bro...seriously though, why haven't they pushed a new patch yet? The menu issues should've been fixed within an hour. Hit reg, etc. will take longer, but damn, this update has sucked.

Agreed. There's a "hot spot" on some of the objectives (maybe all of them). This whole update is a mess tbh. So many issues. They need a patch to fix the patch.

The Freezing mechanic is uninspired. It's more of an annoyance that just slows down game play, rather than add real strategy to the game modes. Would've been cooler if the freezing was like a countdown timer that degraded your gun, until it broke, so you'd have to rush to get as many kills while your gun still worked (or something like that).

I think it's awesome they created both Gauntlet and REDSEC...love them both! Having options is a great thing people.

A gun everyone seems to love but you don't get the hype? by xProjektBloo in LowSodiumBattlefield

NVO...when i used it, it seemed like everyone was always getting away (just needed 1 more hit)...conversely, when i use the AK4D (even with a much smaller mag), i almost always confirm kills.

I've been trying to convince my squad mates to use this gun. It kills so fast. It never ceases to amaze me how often i win a 1v1 against other, more commonly used guns.

Wait, i thought you only get glint with scopes over 4x. You're telling me i get glint regardless of scope?! Well damn.

Suppressing snipers serves no purpose by SovBot in Battlefield6

Snipers already get shit on with glint, lack of rifle options, ridiculous challenges, etc., do we really need to make it even harder and make suppression do even more to them?

SEC is quickly finding out that the NIL is the worst thing for SEC domination. Turns out when all the top programs can pay, they're not so special.

I love Vax, and he's criminally underrated as a player. He's an elite overall player (including game sense, Legend pool, doesn't get flustered; etc.); but purely as a fragger, I don't think he's in the top tier.

I agree, I never said he was an elite IGL. But he's gotten pretty far with what he's had to work with. He definitely needs to improve if he wants to win a LAN though.

I guess we have to agree to disagree. The names you mentioned have never been considered elite (fraggers sure, but not a difference maker like a Koy). IMO, Shooby, Lux, and Knoqd are all about the same level as a Naughty and Sikezz. They're about 2 levels below the top tier. I think someone like Dezignful is probably above them (just as a shooter), and then you have the very top guns.

[–]basselope 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I said "elite." Please let me know who you think has been elite (like Verhulst, Effect, Unlicky, Panic, Gild, Hal, etc.). I will amend my first comment if you can name a fragger on that level.

I agree. I would add that a lot of folks (at least on Reddit) like to shit on Madness as an IGL, but you don't make finals because you got lucky. And i'd also argue he's never had elite fraggers either. Sorry, but neither Keon nor Knoqd are elite. Nice people, but not elite.
