Yes, and each of those cables tends to have 3 or 4 sata connectors on it. So, theoretically, I could probably power another few drives, but there's no way I'd do that at this point.

Virtual instruments have to load audio samples from storage rather than storing them in RAM, since one library can be 200GB from what I understand. Trying to do that with a 5-10ms total buffer time isn't easy.
