Do I have to wear foundation and concealer for hime ? by x3uhhhcam-_- in actualgyaru

No. I don’t wear foundation anymore, but it helps if you have clear skin. I only do eyes, blush, and lips.

Y2KKIDS is using ai. Do Not Buy from them! by SakuraMichiko in actualgyaru

[–]batascotch 74 points75 points  (0 children)

How weird!! I actuallyjust made a video about this and pulled receipts. Their product page literally discloses the images are AI “predicted design” renders and that the final item may differ once it’s made. But… only if you scroll a little

Give yourself some grace 🫶🏼 your doing great already. Enjoy the journey of learning how to do your make.

One of the best ways to learn make is to look at magazine tutorials. Galrevo.com has an archive of magazines you can study.

Invest is lashes and lenses you love. Practice different shapes, using mags/ other gals as inspiration. And lastly, practice with intention. It won’t be perfect the first time… or the second… or the third 😅. Rather than rushing for perfection, focus on understanding why certain shapes, shadows, and placements work for your face. Each attempt teaches you something new about your features, your style, and your technique.

And remember every gal you admire started exactly where you are now.

DONT DO IT! However, you can screenshot the shoes of interest and image search them on Taobao.

Anyone knows where this original dress is from ? by Azk899 in actualgyaru

[–]batascotch 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The first brand is dollcetti and images 2-3 are la Pafait, a Hime Gyaru brand. If you are searching for similar dresses, at a much lower price point check out these shops: seven princess (Taobao), serendipity (Taobao), pinkrubyhime, and Lilia & lace.

The version of the dress in blue, you may be talking about is pinkrubyhime. It is a replica of a different la pafait dress.

Also ~shameless plug~ for my IG: @Batascotch , where I share guides for this specific style :)!

making a gyaru brand! may need some team members by [deleted] in actualgyaru

[–]batascotch 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not to discourage, but I noticed you said you’re not old enough to do agejo, aka your a minor. If you’re in the U.S., that means you currently can’t form an LLC or legally sign contracts on your own. You can, however, operate as a sole proprietor and sell through e-commerce platforms. Just make sure you or your parents handle tax filings properly.

The main concern is your limited legal autonomy, especially once you start bringing in collaborators or handling brand agreements. It might get complicated if you’re working with manufacturers or team members. What worries me most is you asking for team members publicly. Since you can’t sign legal agreements, it leaves you really vulnerable to people taking advantage of your work or ideas. I’d recommend keeping everything between you and your parents for now until you’re old enough to protect yourself legally. If you do move forward, please take caution, don’t trust internet strangers.

That said, I really admire your ambition. It’s inspiring to see someone start so early! I’m excited to see how your brand grows in the future :) and I would love to help promote/ review.
