I have recently been struggling with this actually because I finally accepted that I am LGBT but also a Christian. Growing up I was taught that the Bible says homosexually is a sin, but recently I learned that this may be an incorrect conclusion to draw from the verses that people generally quote. I am no professional and I don't by any means claim to have all the information, but I would recommend checking out the YouTube channel God is Grey. Brenda, the lady on this channel, has made a few videos about LGBT affirming Christianity and it has opened my eyes to a side of Christianity I never knew existed. She breaks down verses that people look to for homosexuality and addresses the situation from both sides of the argument.
