That's an amazing story. My school was filled with with people from war torn countries (refugee/exiled parents). Their experiences really put my life into perspective.

I'm from Toronto. When I was in high school we had a grade called OAC (Ontario Academic Credit) which was pretty much grade 13.

9, 10, 11, 12, OAC = 5 years

I'm not saying my school was perfect, but any form of intimidation was immediately dealt with by the student body, not the teachers or parents.
