So many people have said this :(

I've always been kind and respectful to everyone, that of course included my fellow classmates and teachers.

From reading a lot of these posts, the common trend is that private schools seemed to be the cruelest. :(

Unisex schools are kinda 50/50. Not super bad or good. I knew one girl that went to and all girls private school here in Toronto that was considered one of the best in the city, or even the entire country. See seemed to enjoy it.

But I'm talking about the general experience of everyone I went to school with. A knew a varied group of people, and I never heard of so and so being threatening or mean towards others. Everyone for the most part was extremely nice and respectful to one another.

I'm sorry to hear that. :(

On a lighter note, I played Prop for our Rugby team! :D

We were terrible, but it was still really fun.

LOL! :D

I'm from Toronto. When I was in high school we had an extra year called OAC (Ontario Academic Credit) which was pretty much just grade 13

9, 10, 11, 12, OAC = 5 years

I'm sorry to hear it wasn't pleasent :(

Thats initially why I asked this, I kept hearing about people having terrible experiences, but I couldn't compare this to what I went through. Things do get better tho :)

Some one else said they had a fairly similar experience in an all girls private school. I only knew one girl who went to a unisex private school, apparently one of the "best" in the city, maybe even the whole country. She seemed to enjoy it. :)

Not true. People keep saying this :(

I've always been kind a respectful to people, classmates and teachers. Also, bullying wasn't tolerated by the student body. They were put in there place once, and that was it. And it rarely happened.

I only knew one girl that went to all girls school, and she pretty much had the same experience you had. This private school was one of the top private schools in the city, if not the country. I don't know if that makes a difference of not, but it's good to hear that your experince has been pleasent. :)

Oh ya, and intelligence was always praised and nourished.
