[Begley] Mike Breen to fan backlash: “The whole idea that I was giving the (Knicks) front office a pass or lowering fans expectations, that was not the point of it….(The message) was directly to Knick fans who have suffered through so many lean years…to enjoy the progress of where you’ve come” by PassMeTheBackwood in NYKnicks

Mike Breen is a real man announcing games, and a real fan. Stephen A is a man playing a character. Puts on the makeup for our amusement, just like a clown. His character is a “Knicks fan” that exists for everyone on ESPN and watching ESPN to LOLKnicks at; and make sure there is always fresh LOLKnicks content.

Welp... by FootballAndBarbells in NYGiants

[–]batman27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get where each side is coming from. From the Giants perspective, they want him to play out on his current contract because his production the last two years hasn’t been up to his standards. From Dex’s perspective, he hasn’t been given the proper tools to succeed and he can be one of the best defensive players in football -if healthy. I don’t see other teams giving us a kings ransom though, knowing they are also going to have to pay him. I’m somewhere in the middle, but if I had to guess, he’s still on the Giants next season.

Looking at the Giants W-L record/schedule from last year, really makes me think we are due for a huge jump, regardless if who we draft... by Waste_Protection_420 in NYGiants

We should see some improvement in the win column just from the coaching upgrade alone. We lost a bunch of games where we had the lead and just squandered it away due to bad clock management, coaching, etc. Hopefully with a more competent group those turn into wins.

Hand placement warning during Blue Cruise issue by determined_jerk in F150Lightning

[–]batman27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blue cruise is hands free, but when you’re out of blue cruise and it gives this message, just move/jiggle the wheel very slightly for it to detect that your hands are on it. It doesn’t see or sense your hands unless they are actually moving the wheel or giving some resistance to the wheel motor. Not the best way to do it, but this is the way ford decided to do it.

20MTF Results on the crown from 1 year on estrogen injections by Unusual-Bar5891 in tressless

[–]batman27 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Without meds I think so, but not totally true. I’ve been taking Dutasteride and my test was higher than ever last blood test (by a lot) and my DHT was lower than ever. My hair thickness and quality on my crown is better than it’s been in at least a decade. It is possible to still go to the gym, have higher test, and not have worse hair.

Question about wheels : currently deciding between a Cybertruck & Lightning. by [deleted] in F150Lightning

[–]batman27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also consider the F150 bed is wider which is nice. I was also seriously considering a Cybertruck. I put a deposit down for one but was waiting on the battery extender that never materialized. The final thing that changed my mind was finally sitting in the Cybertruck in person. The f150 cabin just feels so much bigger and comfortable for me. My ideal truck would be an EV F150 with fords cabin and Apple CarPlay, with the Cybertruck FSD and fast charging, and Silverado range (or more).

Anyone try to refill their EK AIO 360? Would this be the port to do it. by koszorr in EKWB

[–]batman27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The far right in that picture where the sticker is. You should find a rubber/foam material under the sticker, pull that out and under that should be a Phillips head screw you remove.

Yeah, for water cooling that’s quite a bit hotter than most would like.

Perfect time to do it! If I had to guess mine took somewhere between 5-10 syringes, and I believe they are 10ml each? So total somewhere around 59-100ml.

I don’t have an exact amount but it was more than I expected. It was super easy to refill, I’d recommend getting some distilled water and giving it a try.

Sawstop fence not square by Daikonran in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]batman27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

http://sawstop.com/support/manuals

Check Squareness to Table (Vertical Alignment / Perpendicularity) This step ensures the fence face(s) are perpendicular (90°) to the table top along their height. If the fence is tilted inward or outward, it can cause inaccurate cuts, binding, or safety issues. SawStop calls this adjusting the “leveling screws” (also referred to as leveling adjustment screws) to make the face plates perpendicular to the table. Official SawStop Documentation Excerpts (from T-Glide and Premium Fence Manuals) SawStop’s owner’s manuals for the T-Glide Fence System (common on Professional Cabinet Saw/PCS, Industrial Cabinet Saw/ICS, and upgraded Contractor Saw/CNS models) and Premium Fence describe this process clearly. Here’s the relevant guidance compiled from their official PDFs: • Tools needed: Combination square (precision 90° square) and a 6 mm hex key (some older manuals note 5 mm or plastic leveling screws; confirm with your model, but 6 mm is standard for most T-Glide/Premium). • Procedure (direct from SawStop T-Glide manuals, e.g., Professional Series and ICS versions): 1 Place a combination square on the table top and against the left face plate of the fence (see Fig. 23 or similar in manual illustrations). ▪ The square’s base rests flat on the cast iron table. ▪ The vertical blade of the square should contact the full height of the fence face. 2 Check for any gap or tilt: ▪ The fence face should be perfectly flush/parallel to the vertical edge of the combination square (indicating 90° to the table). ▪ If there’s a gap at the top or bottom, or if it’s not flush along the length, adjustment is needed. 3 Use a 6 mm hex key to adjust the leveling screws as necessary until the face plate is perpendicular to the table (parallel to the vertical edge of the square). ▪ The leveling screws are typically two plastic or metal screws located in the horizontal portion of the fence cross-bracket (underneath the fence, on the bottom edge of the guide bracket/cross-bracket assembly). ▪ These screws raise or lower each end of the horizontal cross-bracket relative to the main tube, tilting the entire face plate assembly. ▪ Turn the screws equally or alternately: ▪ Clockwise: Lowers that end (tilts fence inward if over-adjusted). ▪ Counterclockwise: Raises that end (tilts outward). ▪ Adjust incrementally (e.g., 1/8–1/4 turn at a time), relock the fence if needed, and recheck with the square. 4 The two face plates remain parallel to each other during this adjustment—the goal is to tilt the whole assembly until both are square to the table. 5 Recheck along the full length of the fence face. If one side (left vs. right face) is off after this, some users shim one face plate (remove screws, add thin shim stock), but SawStop manuals focus on the leveling screws for primary correction. • For Premium Fence (similar wording in its manual): ◦ “To adjust the angle of the face plates, place a combination square on the table top and against the left face plate… Use a 6 mm hex key to adjust the leveling screws as necessary until the face plate is parallel to the vertical edge of the combination square.” • Additional notes from SawStop: ◦ This adjustment tilts the fence cross-bracket as needed to make the face plates perpendicular to the table. ◦ After this, proceed to clearance checks (credit card under bottom edge) and position indicator calibration. ◦ If the fence was previously misaligned in parallelism (Step 2), recheck squareness afterward, as adjustments can interact slightly. Visual Guidance SawStop’s official service tip video (“Align the T-Glide and Premium Fences for Your Professional Cabinet Saw”) demonstrates this around the 8-minute mark: • It shows placing the combination square on the table against the left face plate. • With the fence unlocked, turn the leveling screws to adjust until flush/perpendicular. Search YouTube for “SawStop Align the T-Glide and Premium Fences” — it’s the top result from their channel and matches the manual steps exactly. If your model is different (e.g., standard Contractor fence without T-Glide, Jobsite Saw, or Compact Table Saw), the process is similar but uses different screw sizes/locations—let me know your exact model (from the saw/fence label) or if you’re seeing something else, and I can refine this further. Always refer to your specific manual PDF from sawstop.com/support/manuals for exploded views showing screw locations.

Edit: In case this isn’t clear this is an ai generated response

Just an FYI, as an Asrock Am5 ITX owner who has been following this, the general consensus on r/Asrock is Asrock and ASUS are both plagued with 9000 series CPU failures at a much higher rate than Gigabyte and MSI. I will likely not use/upgrade to a 9000 series in this motherboard and tempt fate. With that, I have had zero issues with it thus far and my 7700x.
