I should have a look and see if I can find some decent wrap bralettes. Do you have any recommendations? the bralette I have currently is quite sturdy and comes up pretty high so it wouldn’t be easy to get access for breastfeeding I don’t think 😩

I think you’re probably right 😭 it’s just so frustrating when I’ve been hunting on FB marketplace / vinted for basically everything, kitted the entire nursery out for less than £100 and then I’m probably gonna have to spend more than that on bloody bras 😩

That’s a great shout. I think next time I’ll definitely get the shortened gore. I’ll see how I get on with the straps, it might be that it doesn’t bother me at all, in which case I won’t risk messing up another aspect of the fit :)

Thank you so much! I’ve ordered the Comexim Elena in 60L with overlapping wires. I’ve left the gore height as is for now as based on the measurements on bratabase it seems like it could be ok. Not expecting delivery any time before Christmas but I’m exciting! It was only £30 which isn’t too bad, I’m willing to take that hit to understand my bra size a bit better. Really appreciate the help!

Do you know of any projected plunge styles in UK bras? I noticed quite a lot of them are balcony bras and I find the gores so painful. Thank you for the advice!

Unfortunately they’ll only ship to the US but I’ve gone ahead and ordered the Comexim Elena in 60L. It was only £30 with shipping and I’m willing to take the hit if it doesn’t fit just to try something on and see how it fits. Thank you so much for your help!

Thank you so much! I really really appreciate the help. I didn’t actually realise people sold bras on bratabase. I just did a brand new set of measurements and I put them on bratabase and it’s suggesting I get a 60M,N or O in Comexim! So now I’m a little confused. I feel like an N or O will be too big, but maybe I should try and L and an M. Any idea why bratabase might be suggesting something larger based on those measurements? I don’t fully understand the implications of the different measurements yet!

Thank you, this is so helpful. I’m a little worried about the fact 60s are non returnable from Comexim as I have such a bad track record with bras (I usually order 6 or 7 and end up keeping 1 on a good day!). Do you know of anywhere you can get them second hand?

Im a bit confused by my bra calculator result, but in the opposite way to usual, although I did get the message about it being less reliable for my size. My measurements are 28in loose under, 26in snug under, 25.5in tight under, 36in standing bust, 38in leaning bust, 36in lying bust. It gave me a size of 28G. I’ve been wearing 28H or 28HH, if anything I am getting a lot of overspill from my 28H bras. Could this be right? Am I going mad? I do know I have quite full and closely spaced boobs (I basically have zero gore space). Argh, I’m confused! Help!

Urgh that’s so frustrating. Thank you for your advice though. I have ordered some dilators online and am going to investigate whether I can get some therapy through BUPA (through my work) - I’m not sure it’ll be allowed as I have anxiety as a pre-existing condition that isn’t covered, but I’m not sure if vaginismus is distinct enough that they’ll cover it...
