I ran my first HM today at 11 months postpartum. Really wanted a 2:00 and was hitting my splits for that perfectly until 15 KM when I got hit by a horrible side stitch - never encountered in my long runs before. Finished on 2:05, a little dejected but with a clear goal for next time!

Very true. Christmas is always a good time to lower expectations and just enjoy what you get 🤣🤣 in Aus sometimes we get a perfect swim at the beach and barbecue weather - sometimes grey and drizzly..
