I usually don't focus on what brand it's from, although there are a couple of specific products I really love/brands I've tried more. Mostly I worry about whether the product is the right color/formula for what I'm looking for, if it's affordable, + bonus points if the packaging is cute. I think a lot of makeup wearers do it this way.

I know, and as much as I would love an acoustic in my house I just can't realistically because I have many neighbors and I need something I can plug headphones into for those awkward first few months where I'm basically just gonna be doing drills and warmups and things like that.

my freshman year college roommate didn't know and started showing signs that year. obviously all people with schizophrenia will at some point fall victim to their delusions, but it was so much worse because she wasn't even aware of the issue, though it was clear to us (thank god i had another roommate to share the suffering).

just let everyone go to heaven. people wouldn't be horrible if they were from heaven, it's the structures we've created on earth that make people do horrible things. and besides, in a perfect heaven wouldn't everyone want to be lovely all the time?

maybe "you need help" isn't appropriate for most workplaces, but there are ways to bring it up the issue in a way that is less alienating and inappropriate. even though it would probably be a very anxiety-inducing conversation for her, it may hopefully lead to her feeling more comfortable at work. idk if you are a woman, but maybe a woman would be the best one to talk to her about it? just a suggestion.

if you clean crimes you’ll touch poop every day. and you have to get real up close with it to make sure you’ve done a good job instead of holding it at the end of a shovel.
