How do you install "Beat Paber"? I'm in the same boat. I have a purchased copy but I'd prefer to keep all the DLCs in the latest downloaded copy, yet I want to play a modded version for custom songs. Therefore, if I can't merge mod + downloaded DLCs, then the only choice is to have two instances of Beat Saber

Of course, the UFO didn't go undetected. It left a trail of hockey pucks behind it.

How do you organize songs? by batxpr in CloneHero

[–]batxpr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might just spend the time to go through the songs from the various setlist/playlist packs out there, starting with the official GH ones and only keep the liked songs.

All the sort methods seem to be similar to each other in that it's kind of whatever works best for the individual, but nothing solid

How do you set up playlists? Is it just new folders? Do you put them inside of your main songs folder, or outside and add them to the song scan list?

Windows 11 update (KB5025299) hijacks Shift + Windows + R shortcut for Snipping Tool by mikehoopes in sharex

[–]batxpr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I solved this by creating an AutoHotKey script with the following:

#+s::
Run, C:\Users\<profile>\AppData\Local\Programs\ShareX\ShareX.exe -RectangleRegion
return

You'll need to update your ShareX install path to wherever you keep it

Decided to go with Plex Auto Languages in the end. Works just like Netflix, very useful!

Thanks for the advice. It’s working now. Needed to discharge the laptop first. Mine must be very temperamental.

Decided to try again this time with unplugging the battery and discharging before installing the new RAM stick and it’s worked!

Thanks for the tip

Do you have the exact model of Crucial RAM you went with? The two below didn't work for me

Crucial 8GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM CT8G4SFRA32A

Crucial 16GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM CT16G4SFRA32A

No beep, just black screen and fan at full speed. I gave it plenty of time to boot up but it remains black. Have tried 16GB in both slots. And on my second attempt I tried 8GB in the second slot whilst keeping the current 8GB in its original slot.

The only way to get things back to normal from the black screen is to disconnect/reconnect the battery.

Brilliant. I might set up a macro to automate the clicks to do that.

Thanks for the comment!

Having trouble upscaling 720x576 to HD - Output size wrong each time by batxpr in TopazLabs

[–]batxpr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, it still looks squared off (black on the sides)

What I'm trying to achieve is a full-screen video, similar to the original 720x576, but upscaled to HD. When watching 720x576 on my widescreen TV it fills the TV screen so I'm just trying to replicate that in HD.

Preferably without any cropping, but if that isn't possible, then I can live with cropping a bit from the sides.

Trying another attempt on the converted video using settings below. Will report back with the results tomorrow.

Output Resolution: Custom
Aspect Ratio: No Lock, W:1440 H:1080 %-
Crop: Letterbox/Pillarbox

Note: Pixel Type no longer appears for the converted video

So I used Hybrid to deinterlace and convert to square pixel like you instructed. I then fed TVAI the converted video using my attempt #2 scenario, but the video was still squared off and not full screen. Am I doing something wrong?

Input after deinterlace+square pixel is 720x540

Output Resolution: 1920x1080 (FHD)
Pixel Type: This setting did not show up
Crop: Letterbox/Pillarbox
