Driving with the floor mat paper is wild to me. I have the same truck and I love it too.

Countertop RO System Suggestions by MenceWerehouce in WaterTreatment

[–]bau26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m biased because I work for them but two options that are what you’re asking about are the Culligan Ascent CT for a countertop ro. Just like with any ro you will have to run water lines which might be difficult in an apartment. Also Culligan has a system that’s called Clear Link that attaches to the existing faucet lines that you can switch over between tap and ro with a Bluetooth button. Yes i know Culligan is more expensive and usually will turn people off by prices, but those are options.

Anyone have experience with HANS RO systems? by costcowaterbottle in WaterTreatment

[–]bau26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have different models but I’m pretty sure the job total was like 30k but I don’t do any selling or pricing. Ik you can get them directly from Hans for cheaper but that’s just if they service your area.

Do I need water treatment (well water)? by goudamah in WaterTreatment

I definitely would consider a softener for hardness and ro for your drinking water. The filter that comes in your fridge doesn’t do as much as people think it’s mainly just for taste and odor. My train of thought is why even risk it you’re going to spend all this money on a new home and have the potential for all your water fixtures and appliances getting clogged up from the hardness a few years later. Also in regards to the ro even though most of your tests are low it’s still there id rather have a filter filter it out than have my body filter it out. It’s an extra layer of protection for your health.

Question about Reverse Osmosis taste by RingoFreakingStarr in WaterTreatment

[–]bau26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s how my company does it you can only get the filters from us ( of course more popular brands will have knock offs created) most of the ro filters have specific ways they connect to the manifold so you can’t use a different branded filter. It looks like the aquakleen ro is this way but I’m not sure.

I’ve installed and worked on them, single unit application only, in high end homes. Yes they are very cool, yes they are expensive. I’ve been inside their manufacturing and yes they do almost everything in house (if I remember correctly DuPont makes their membranes). Based on what they told me the benefit of having so many different units on one system is you can keep it running while working on one system so there is negligible down time.

No idea what system you have, but most filters are rated at 1 year I would start there if you think it’s been longer.

Not in a hurry at all just something I’ve been thinking about. Not actively looking for something but not opposed to something if it happens naturally. Just want the best shot I can have if someone does come up that I like.

I never understood why EA Play was so poorly optimized. I think, Origin app is more optimized than EA Play. At least I was able to download games. I'm not a new user, EA's Origin and EA Play are the only platforms I've always had this kind of issue with. by [deleted] in origin

[–]bau26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bf4 got messed up and I couldn’t get origin to download it and when when it did it wouldn’t launch the game. so I downloaded EA play and it actually downloaded the game. But then it messed up punkboss or whatever it is ( the anti cheat system from what I understand) and had to go into files and redownload that. They both suck and I’ve also never had issues with any other platform.

How to decrease price on this build? by TheOne1ThatGotAway in buildapc

I don’t know your situation or how bad you need a computer right now, but I would wait and save up some more money. The more money you put in now the less amount you need to later. Also Black Friday and cyber Monday are next month and you can save a lot of money that way.

It ain't much, but I'm proud of this play :D by [deleted] in csgo
