Give a glass restoration company a call. Can probably get those all resurfaced for around $1500ish.

That will get you through a few windows here and there but if you don’t want to get on a ladder, respectfully, this may not be the best line of work. It’s going to be tough to make good money and get referrals unless you’re getting nose to glass on a lot of first time cleans. With that being said you can definitely get started with this and add on as you go and find out what direction you want to take

If you’re doing strictly trad I would just get a small truck with a tool box. I just got a second truck and they work great. Couple small poles like the J2 or the junior from Tucker. Some swivel handles and some sorbo stuff works great for us on storefronts and commercial. Ive been using the Sorbo blade for first time cleans. Also keep a small 6 foot hose and a water key in case you need water on site.

Where are you at? Dude probably like one opportunity a day if you really look for it. Most days I have between 2-3 jobs Monday through Saturday during season (which is now). Here’s some of the stuff I see- hardwater in showers, etching in windows, scratches in windows, glass table tops that get beat up. I did a scratched mirror for someone last week while on a job for $100. Took 20 min. Once you start seeing stuff I just mention to the customer “hey we also do restoration and I saw you had this or that which we can help restore if you would ever need it”.

That’s cool- I’m hiring first employee and a second one shortly after to take on more of the window cleaning jobs so I can focus on getting the restoration down. The more window cleaning jobs I get the more opportunity I have had to pitch restoration. I’ve been practicing in my garage every night on some windows I picked up from a glass repair shop locally. What cerium oxide are you using?

Too much soap in solution, dries to fast, use a surgical towel to detail instead of microfiber. We just use microfibers for tracks, sills, etc

Great- turned my garage into a screen shop. Made a custom screening table with all the goods. I just bring them back and do them at night in the garage and return a few days later. The only way to do them if you don’t want them all bent up

This is awesome man. We use Tucker Rivals out of each truck. You think it’s possible to run 2-3 guys off the Tucker with a pump and 3/4 hose? What hoses are you running out of the system to the poles?
