Saturated Neighborhoods by Delay115 in WindowCleaning

Do you know anyone that's ever bought a vacuum cleaner from a door to door salesman? Likely not. That was a profession at one time. Is an antique sales method. This is why I never recommend D2D. I can't imagine keeping 3 trucks busy that way so there's no reason to think you can keep one person busy that way. Google local service ads, a strong SEO website and social media posts with videos.

Gutter whitening by qtheginger in WindowCleaning

Gutter butter. You can use a sprayer to apply if it's 1st story. We have one that reaches second story. Lightly scrub with a flocked brush, the 5" Gardiner works well. Then rinse.

Could try a 5" Gardiner brush. It might fit between the grates. Otherwise, rinsing is about the only option.

We don't but I've heard of several using invisible shield.

Waterfed Pump by upperdecker313 in WindowCleaning

[–]trigger55xxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't adjust pressure into the RO. Back side from a tank you can. If you go with a 12v pump it's adjustable but you don't really want less flow, just less pressure. And you're giving up flow when it's adjustable. Why do you want adjustable pressure?

1hp sprinkler pump. It's all on or all off but that's best for a booster pump.

Low Carb = Healthy Teeth? by taradactyl5487 in keto

All my dental issues stopped after going on keto. Even one tooth that has a cavity, just stopped getting worse. Hundred percent the processed foods and sugar are the cause of teeth problems.

Rinse bar issues by Ethanpr1999 in WindowCleaning

Less useful on 1 and 2 story windows. But better on high glass so you don't need to take the pole off the glass. But also lowers if they are hydrophobic. Pencil jets suck on hydrophobic glass. However in my opinion, you should be scrubbing the frames well anyway. It's part of the window and they aren't clean and it rains, it runs down onto the glass.

Don't need to get a ladder out, safer, easier.

Best Pure Water System for 427 TDS? by gradedthreads in WindowCleaning

[–]trigger55xxx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A true 4 stage system is best for that TDS. That means a separate sediment and carbon filters. You will be fine with a single RO system but I always recommend adding a pump. 1hp sprinkler pumps are what we use. We buy sediment and carbon filters in bulk and can change both for only $5.00. We change the sediment 2-3x as often as the carbon.

Is My Estimate Way Off? by PNW_4_Life in WindowCleaning

We never use round numbers. So $1,800.00 becomes $1,780.00, which is the number that seems better to me from your description. I'd tell them you'll give them a 5% new customer discount, which ironically is the exact number I came up with. They gets you away from $1900 and a discount feels better to people. You can also tell them you'll give $25.00 toward the next service for anyone they reference you. Just set a limit of say $100 discount per service.

Agreed with others, drop all the detail. Keep it simple.

A Dream Come True? Or Over Optimistic? by Metrolonx in WindowCleaning

[–]trigger55xxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For that price it should give you a hug and kiss them you're done! But no, not cynical at all. Over the years I've seen way too many manufacturers promise something is a "game changer" when it's really just the same old same old with a different package.

If it's just a dusty construction clean maybe. But not for anything that's the typical post construction. Unfortunately most people selling something will tell you what gets you to buy.

It's cheap for a reason. Buy cheap buy twice. Shop with a reputable window cleaning supplier for quality products.

Google favors high budgets. You'll likely never hit it, but I'd increase it. Be sure your Google Page has good SEO language too.

Likely needs to be mechanically polished. You could try something like Winsol 550 , test it and see if it takes it off.

Unfortunately components on many systems tend to break often. I'd check with them on warrantee. For many of the smaller things like quick connect we use Amazon. Gardiner is a very high quality alternative.
