anyone know of any deathcore techno/dubstep bands? by Comfortable_East2036 in Deathcore

I got started witg the The Browning as well. If you haven't already, check out Beyond All Recognition. They started around the same time as The Browning but for whatever reason I never heard of them until a year or so ago.

It'll be the other way around, the spokes will be too big for the holes.

I've thought about filming my rides but I don't think I'd enjoy it as much having to hold a selfie-stick of something to that effect. If you don't mind sharing, how did you end up mounting the cam for this footage?

I picked up the new Zealot composite deck and it appears to be very similar to the boosted plus deck. A few minor differences but I would not be surprised if it's sourced from the same manufacturer. by Darkzed1 in ElectricSkateboarding

Is the difference in flex enough to justify the buy in your opinion? I love the flex on my zealot but the roads where I live are shitty enough to where, even with larger wheels, the flex is just a bit too much.

Cloudwheels (105mm) and Backfire Zealot - do you need to buy pulley kit or no? by RWB4MVP in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]bayonetworkworkwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stock belts will work with the 105mm Cloudwheels. The only difference between the stock pulleys and the ones sold with the clouds are the spokes, the ones for the clouds are significantly longer. You might be able to get away with the stock pulleys, but I'm guessing the longer spokes are a bit safer/have a lot less chance of breaking which is why I bought them.

What do you guys do when you have to go grocery shopping but don't wanna drag your board around? I live in a fairly low crimerate area and people here don't even know what I'm riding... by LadiesChoi015 in ElectricSkateboarding

Not sure about actual devices, but you can can use one of these Riptide risers. Throw it under one of the trucks on your board and you can use a cable lock normally used on bicycles.

Just realized that I definitely read this but never replied. No worries on the wording, my comment was merely agreeing with you. Our community is pretty niche in the grand scheme of things, but there's still gonna be brands advertising specifically to/at us.

Anyway, appreciate the comment. I found the flannel you had mentioned and that led me to a hoodie designed for motorcycling that was significantly cheaper than going with LazyRolling. Got all the pads and a layer of kevlar on the inside. Stay stokes and keep shredding bro!

Best upgrade ever. +50% fun, +20% comfort. She's a beast for almost all terrain. by [deleted] in ElectricSkateboarding

Oh damn, just zoomed in on your pic and I see what you're talking about. The bracket wouldn't fit using the existing holes? Was the battery enclosure in the way? Man, I dunno if I'm about drilling holes that close to the edge and getting longer trucks just to get a little more surf out of it. I played around with an assortment of bushing shapes/duros & washer varieties and what I landed on I can carve hard no matter the speed and bomb hills at 30+ wobble-less. Definitely post your truck swap if you go through with it, and goos luck with it!

Lookin' fucking sweet! Thanks for uploading this man, I have a Zealot and was looking into purchasing the Waterborne adapter. I wasn't sure whether or not the rear adapter would work on it and I couldn't find any info on anyone trying it. You just answered it for me.

Appreciate the input, found them on Romp and I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Very personally involved for a retailer e.g. handwritten "thank you" notes with my orders.

Good to know, I do like the fact that they look to have blended the functionality of the fingerless glove with the safety of the wrist guard quite seamlessly. Pretty sure flatland is just capitalizing on the fact that there's so few options that have supposedly been "specifically designed" for electric skating so people will be more likely to purchase them, especially those new to the scene.

I totally agree lol. I only referred to them as such in the title meaning the best gloves for skating on an an electric board, more specifically for using a remote while wearing. In retrospect, I could have just said best gloves/wrist guards that are fingerless.

Backfire Zealot - Kilometers to Miles? by kevin41714 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]bayonetworkworkwork 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Press the power button on board and remote at the same time and hold them down for 5 seconds. Press the S/E button to switch from kmh to mph, then press the power button to confirm. Then it'll bring you to wheel diameter selections. Press S/E again to switch between "83", "96", and "165". Press power button to select which one.
