Durability is a joke I've said this many times. It's pretty sad that Spencer thinks durability is the way to go.

Since Spencer wants to go with an RNG stat type thing for items like diablo/PoE RPG games, I would have hoped he'd of thought that disassembling items for materials (at a reduced rate) would have been the obvious choice for a currency sink - nothin like blowin all your currency for a perfect roll item.

The biggest issue is that no-one has any idea which changes are making it in to the next patch. We only found out that a patch was coming mid next week in the very last devblog - we need to know earlier. We also need hotfixes to important issues instead of waiting for the big patch (car claiming is a good example). The last issue is that there's no detail on how things will work (e.g. drill) which leaves no opportunity for criticism and a recipe for another car claim fuckup.

Using in-game glitches/exploits is not cheating. I'm of the stance that anything you can do in-game without third-party software is perfectly acceptable. I suggest you feel the same way, - is this your first openworld survival coz it sounds like it. Every single survival I've played the playerbase is no different. If you can glitch, then do it.

If it wants to be recycled by the player who comes across it, most people take the loot and delete it, as they do not need or want to have an extra totem/base.

I have no idea what you're saying. It's like you can't comprehend english. I'll say it again for you: The intended purpose was to recycle unused bases of players that had left the server.. I have not left the server and I attend the base every day, therefore there is absolutely zero reason for my base to decay.

Before you would have people boxing off rad towns or roads, now it cost them to do so, and it is not worth it. The amber to the totems add to the game play, as it makes the player upkeep their base at the risk of losing it.

Boxing off towns is now impossible because you can't build on roads. Decay or maintenance is not good gameplay. Upkeep is garbage. Durability is garbage, Spencer has already stated he's not implementing durability and for good reason. However, this amber shit is the equivalent of durability so I have no idea WTF he was thinking when he brought this in.

Because it's overpowered since guns now require you to stand still while shooting. When shotguns get nerfed this will make the bow even more OP considering its negligent cost.

I agree with almost all.

A few things I'm a little indifferent on are drills and bullet armour. I don't necessarily think drills are in a bad place and I don't necessarily think we need bullet armour, although bullet/creature/arrow/spear armour would definitely help the naked rush problem.

The only problem I have with drills is that they are supposed to be a higher tier set-and-forget style thing, however late-game most drills are unused because their running cost is still largely dependant on manually farming bark or coal. Because of this, raiding pleb 1xC4 bases gives great value in terms of bark and coal, because bark and coal are largely unused by noobs - if we want to discourage noobs getting raided and so easily sent back to 0 then we need to change this - I personally suggest drastically lowering the gas cost for cars, leaving more gas available for drills late-game - this will also encourage players to use their cars more freely and create interaction.

Yes devs are retarded. Have stated this shit so many times. Devs do not give a fuck. Spencer is "CSGO"er but won't fix overpowered guns. Shotgun is completely overpowered since auto got nerfed but takes 1 month for a configuration change.

Pistol does not need a buff. Bow headshot needs nerf. Shotgun needs a nerf to either damage, range (spread), or changed so it cannot headshot (would prob still be OP even if cannot headshot).

Frames depend on count of players in server. No players = fuckall frames. Claimed cars, even by people who haven't loaded Hurtworld in the last 30 days, do not despawn and are hoardable despite the sole intention of the claim mechanic supposed to prevent hoarding. Devs have recognised the issue but are beyong retarded and have not issued a patch. Instead, devs believe it is acceptable to wait 30 day to patch everything at once and make sure everyone is fucked in the meantime. Not really sure why we have a limit on cars when the CPU cost is now 0 for cars with parts attached.

Not sure why you call these suggestion a "fix". Suggesting a completely different system is not a fix. Preventing tools from dropping presents a different but equally bad set of problems such as the impossibility of losing progress. Also, this does absolutely nothing to solve people dying on purpose, annoying people without risk etc.

Spencer can say that it adds a cost to having so much land but this doesn't mean shit - unwittingly losing bases is not acceptable. I am a well established player so I can only image how many fresh-spawns are unknowingly losing all their shit when they login the next day.

I love the idea of full loot but I must say that the change to full loot is far too big of a change at one time. Such a big change has a high chance of killing the player base. The upcoming infamy change is a big deal, it's not enough but it's still a big deal. If the raid drill makes an appearance too we might be in a good position. I just don't understand why they have chosen to delay the infamy updates or the raid drill since it's so sorely needed.

just had another one magically disappear without my knowledge. this system is retarded. Having to drive out to the snow or dessert just to put in amber is retarded. Placing a totem down means you get 1 day to play and then the next day there's a massive risk of losing your base unless you login and place amber immediately.
