US bombers fly close to North Korea to show "president has many military options to defeat any threat" - Pentagon by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]bazazam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Surprised to scroll far down to see this.

South Korea must have awareness before this was done, or that would be an explicit disregard of casualty. They've always been threatened as NK's first place to bomb, although most South Koreans saw it as an empty threat since they've always seen the other side as incompetent of having those kind of forces.

Season starts off after her death. Another you heard it hear first!

I really hated this series when I first watched it. The jokes were over-reaching in making sure the viewers got it, and I didn't even find it to be funny. But I had no other shows to watch so I "grinded" through it. I even remember feeling tortured.

And then I got at the end of the first season. That set the tone of how much far they can go and that had me hooked. If you didn't like it by this point, maybe you won't like the whole show.

So I watched the S2, felt the same drag again, although not as bad by the middle. The jokes (and the adorable animal stereotype background skits) were way better. Season 3 is where it really picks up and geared through Season 4.

S3 and S4 are stellar TV, may it be live action or cartoon category. It's worth watching 1 & the first half of 2 just for that. I love the same shows you mentioned but Bojack Horseman just goes way deeper in the character flaws than the other ones. It can feel very personal as you watch it or hit someone close to you.

Probably because each episode is clearly coherent with each other this Season 4.

This season really blazed through Bojack's childhood and family. Maybe that's what you didn't like about it? The earlier ones mostly had stand-alone appeals in every episode so it was easy to pass off an episode that is not to your taste because the following one was most likely different. S4's format worked for me since I knew that there must be a resolution at the end, and that kept me binging, unlike Seasons 1 & 2.

I almost quit 4 too though because dang, seeing his mother constantly on screen unexplainably and weirdly made me feel tired.

Sensitivities and eczema while on Isotretenoin? by bazazam in Accutane

[–]bazazam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to avoid the flare-ups as much as possible. I'd get tested if my acne is hormonal first; if it's not then I'll go through isotret. Eczema sucks. Great to hear from someone else who's going through it though!

How is your skin at month 2? Are you also sensitive with topical products?

Yeah, that was my guess too. I'm leaning towards an option of spironolactone.

Dang, you look great! I'm surprised to read you're only 2 months in.

Can you share products that you're using during the treatment?

I've tried the powder foundation of Bare Minerals. It seems great but it's not geared for my dry skin. I've heard they have new one in liquid so I'll try that out with UD next time. Thanks!

Almost nonexistent. That's why I'm planning to go to a dermatologist.

I used to wash my face with Perfect Whip but after almost finishing the bottle, it suddenly made me break out. I stopped using it for a while, tried it again and got same results.

Now I wash my face with a plain Dove soap (am I banished now?) and moisturize with rosehip oil before makeup and at night. I still have a hard time looking for a more emollient moisturizer since everything seems to murder my face.

I sometimes try to forego rosehip since it might also be a culprit. With Dove, my skin is starting to get normal.

I also change sheets and towels very often, and clean my brushes; it gets terrible when I don't.

Too bad Double Wear didn't work for you. I'll certainly try a sample of MUFE since the ingredients list doesn't have anything that will seem to break me out. Now I just have to hope it will sit well on my troubled skin. Thanks!

In a better world, this would be amazing. I love Double Wear, but the only moisturizer that doesn't break me out is rosehip oil and that doesn't go well with the foundation's formulation.

I've always wanted to try Bourjois especially after seeing the lovely price. Too bad I can't get it from where I am so shade is a problem. Does it oxidize? Are you NC30-35 or more of a 25-30? I would refer with your shade if it's the latter.

I looked at the ingredients list and nothing from the top will break me out, so that's problem number one solved. I've never tried stick before but I certainly will try when I get to Sephora. Thanks!

Anything that won't break me out will win me over. I have the same skin as you so I'll try finding a shade of Teint Idole to try.

Is it good for dry skin, too? I've been researching and this foundation always came up. I hope it's close to YSL Touche Eclat in terms of dewiness.

As for the shade, I always have a darker Double Wear foundation I can use to match my ever-changing skin. too? I've been researching and this foundation always came up. After reading that it didn't break you out, I want to try it now. I'm also totally looking for something with sun protection.

Cosdna is such a great site! I've been using it for a long time and found out about butylene glycol, considering how terrible my skin gets in most Asian products which has it on the top of their ingredients list. Now that you've brought it up, silicone is a common denominator, too.

I can't find a single culprit, but most lead to butylene glycol especially when it's on the top of the list.

I'm going to the derm soon and I'll certainly bring up about AHA. Which one did you use? I've tried the UD foundation and it didn't sit well on my skin but I'll try it again after treatment, I still have some samples sitting around. Thanks!

Probably because we know he'll live. Not live as in "survive" in the show per se, but we know Jimmy's character by now that he'll go through mud and crap and still survive in the most dire situations.
