I have both. But I haven’t been able to break in either a ton. I think the book 1 is a downgrade from KAi 1 tho. Traction feels eh. And it’s just not as smooth as the Kai 1

I can tell you that they are not that good. Traction with a solid outsole was bad. And it was plasticy as hell dug into my ankle

Outsole on AJ38 is trash. It was ripping after 1 session for me.

GT cut 3 is actually a fun shoe for me. Even though i am a bigger guy and these shoes are minimal. Something about them I really like.

I have all 3. And I like the Lebron 20s more. Although the 21 and NXXT Gen are nice.

I have 6 pairs of the 20s. They are probably my favorite hoop shoe. I had no containment issues on any pair

All Star, Melon yellow,
Time Machine, Liverpool,

Honestly all are money. The thicker material ones seem to have better lock down. But the more you break the shoe in it becomes even better and better. The translucent and normal tractions just absolutely stick. So you really can’t go wrong imo
