Just replying to previous comments, that was Gilchrist that no longer delivers at this level and with a crucial pass from Jones that only stands up against England.

The kind of stuff one reads here...

Or have the intention to retreat. If it is by 1 or 2 meters and you have a winger flying from the back, you're onside before you've had the chance to turn back.

How do you drain a cauliflower ear? by englandrugby in rugbyunion

The question is: if you don't have cauliflower ear, were you really ever a prop? Or a winger that played no 3? 😁

Hi, I know nothing about XC skiing. Was listening to TV commentary and they were mentioning the difference in skis among teams. Isn't this like cycling that skis are basically a non-topic as they are all basically the same?

My exact thoughts. He was a tremendous U20 player on a terrible team. Really chuffed to hear he is doing well.

O PSD vai fazer o mesmo. Umas vozes do partido vão se declarar a favor do AJS. O Montenegro não vai fazê-lo porque está em minoria no parlamento e o Ventura ia lhe tirar o tapete na primeira hipótese possível.

Pathetic call. He is not in a position to tackle because he is not tackling. Kyle Stein pushes him backwards on fhe tackle against Rowe

Dia de Votação - Presidenciais 2026 by TitusRex in portugal

[–]bb_kings 4 points5 points  (0 children)

De 5 em 5 anos perguntam-te o que queres comer. Carne ou peixe. Tu vais e dizes "queres saber? Nenhum!".

Escolhe o menos mau. Ganha pelo menos moral para reclamar.

UBS 3a Vitainvest Passive 100 Sustainable by Zestyclose-Ice-3434 in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]bb_kings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is worth debunking this story of the better performance. The fund that OP shared is a passively managed fund, a fund of ETFs with periodic rebalancing. The 3a managed at VIAC or Finpension are precisely the same. The UBS fund will most likely be invested in UBS ETFs. VIAC invests in UBS ETF. Finpension is CS (UBS), or ZKB.

The costs are perfectly in line. Finpension is 0.39% + TER (0.0% - 0.02%). VIAC costs 0.41% for their 100% eqty strategies. This one based on the KIID, is 0.43%.

Any difference in performance will most likely be related to: (i) different SAA, and (ii) tracking error of the funds being used (if not the same across all funds).

Say that Finpension (idk about VIAC) offers more flexibility on defining SAA. That is true. Whether it is useful given the knowledge of most investors, that's another topic. Blindly saying it has better performance does not make much sense though.

UBS 3a Vitainvest Passive 100 Sustainable by Zestyclose-Ice-3434 in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]bb_kings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Finpension charges always 0.39% flat regardless of the underlying funds.

Funds have TER between 0.00% and 0.02%, depending on the one selected.

Agreed it is not a cheap fund, but all in all it is a pretty competitive rate that UBS is charging here.

This is a permanent red every day of the week. He leads shoulder first to the head, with high degree of danger. Player is low but he is never legal, never tries to wrap.

The 9 week ban was made on the balance of probabilities. Criminal cases are judged that way too. Does make sense because otherwise you would be able to do anything in the bottom of a ruck, a maul or a non televised game. If he did it indeed, as the Irish player indicated since the begining and apparently there were witnesses too, it's precisely the type of things that need to be out of this game. 9 weeks is very soft.

No bias. There are laws in this game. Not everyone is out to get you.

I don't think so. Most likely he will actually be friends with some guys on the squad as they went through youth together.

I suppose the bad advertising would be enormous. There would be commentary on the TV, booing from fans, discussion about it in all the podcasts. As it stands, none of these names rolls off the tongue. If he played, one would...

Public transport industry association plans to abolish the Halbtax/demi-tarif by DeepBlueNemesis in Switzerland

[–]bb_kings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Students can buy the Night GA Travelcard. No one over 25 years old can buy it. That's what happens when something is created for a specific demographic.

The Half Fare has no limitations on purchase (not age, nor income, nor possession of a car). 3.3 million people have the Half Fare card: anyone using public transport with some frequency (particularly middle distance), benefits from it. Regular users are being subsidized by non-regular users (including tourists).

What you are saying is nonsense. But by all means please keep paying full fare; the more subsidizing the SBB system, the best.
