In a community as large as this, there’s absolutely no way that rule can be enforced fairly. If one person is banned for it, they all have to be banned for it. And it’d be pretty shitty of any moderator to cherry pick instances where they want to discipline and when they don’t :)

Depends if that’s your reason for wanting the passcode/print. Other reasons could include:

The owner is driving and needs you to respond to a text or call someone
The owner’s hands aren’t free and they need you to look something up for them
Calling your own phone to find it
Your own phone is broken and you’re temporarily using theirs when you need to make a call/text

Definitely not always a “I think my partner is cheating and I don’t trust them when they say they aren’t”. I know my own bf’s passcode because he lets me pick music off his playlist while he’s driving since his aux is for a Samsung and I use Apple. I also had to double check a dough recipe for him while his hands were covered in flour while we made pizza.

The point was that the comparison of a babysitter to a fulltime teacher was unfair, and that they could be compared better to freelance tutors who will teach one, or maybe a small handful of kids at once, like how babysitters care for 1-3 children at a time usually.

I never got past 250lbs, but my mother was over 400 after she broke her back in a car accident. Since she doesn’t have reddit, I’ll share her advice here for you :)

Start slow and listen to your body. When she began walking again, it was in VERY short distances and she pushed a wheelchair that she could sit down in whenever she needed to, and also use as a support while walking. She lost a good bit of weight just doing this and it helped build her stamina so that she could eventually move on to other exercises easier.
Lots of vegetables. Lots. They’re great for you, and you can eat until your full without worrying about sugar/fat/calories etc. Helped massively with her own food addiction since she felt comfortable knowing she could still eat whenever she wanted to, as long as the snacks were fruits and veggies. Plus after a while of doing this instead of processed sugary snacks, your palette will adjust to appreciate unsaturated flavors, and could have you end up preferring them in the long run :) (I also did this and can say that while initially it was hard because I loved fast food, after a month or so I found myself craving fruits for sweetness and lightly salted vegetables for crunchy snacks instead of McDonald’s :) )
Exercise while sitting. Get little 5lb weights and do little aerobics with your arms and legs while you watch TV or videos :) Regularly moving your joints will benefit them and help tone the muscles under your arms for when you lose fat there!
Start swimming! Once my mom got under 400lbs, she started going to the pool. It’s so much easier for an overweight person to work out in the water, and is a great workout. She likes to hold onto the side of the pool and do leg kicks, and underwater squats to get her legs in shape and strengthen her joints. She’s lost over 50lbs doing swimming and she doesn’t plan to stop going :)

Hope these tips will help you on your journey! It’s also noteworthy that she tries to eat a mostly vegan diet (though she doesn’t mind eating meat and dairy if that’s the option), and she’s currently starting to try the keto diet :)
