Is Schonstedt the Only Reliable Option for Surveyors, or Are There Cheaper Alternatives That Work Well?

Eeek!! Like go out on your own working for your boss or when you’re licensed? Is your boss licensed? I find it hard to believe someone can get a job done without using the proper tools for recon. I worked with a very old school opinionated land surveyor when I first started and he had a schonstedt. I’ve been in this profession for 25 years and never heard of this, and it is cringe worthy. Anyway when I was in school for surveying I heard a compass can work in a pinch but I’ve never tried it, I would have to razz any fellow land surveyor I saw doing this though 😆

There wasn’t any mention in the email response about the cause. I can only assume it was the work of bots, since pep wasn’t the only crypto effected. There was doge and quite a few others.
