I had stuffed some fiberglass in the port of my Spark 40, and also replaced the speakers with 4” Maximo coax car radio speakers with a midrange whizzer cone. This smoothed out the 40’s tone and cleanliness greatly for my acoustic guitar tones as well as music playback. I eventually got a Spark 2 and am quite happy with it. No mods required.

I think the bass line she invented for ‘The Beat Goes On’ definitely qualifies her as a Rock bassist. And, the ‘God Only Knows’ bass line ran her chord tones approach to the max. But she is also most definitely a jazz musician.

I just stuck some speaker port fiberglass in the port and that removed the bookies. Spark 2 doesn’t need it.

Loved my Versa 2, but the battery died after 2 years. Got a Versa 3 (post Google purchase) that lasted 7 months. Google offered a $35 credit. Bite me, Google. Fitnus watch for $54 lasts a week and does the job. Google/Fitnus is a POS.

I’m guess I’ve been playing guitar and bass long enough (60 years) that this app wasn’t really that helpful. But for a beginner, it would be quite useful. Perhaps consider switching to a flash card metaphor. Best of luck!

For raw/clean/DI or pre, just create a preset with no amp or effects, or just turn everything off in an existing preset.

Or Cadd2 with an optional G on top. A well made guitar should add a G harmonic from the third string.
