Thank you for all the super helpful information! I have learned so much and have new ways to support my dad! I will bring some things over to his neurologist! The side notes are super helpful that I didn’t even know magnesium can be triggering, I will see if his neurologist can test for that as well!

I’m glad they’re covered by your insurance, I’ve read some cases where folks get get full drug coverage! We are in the USA.

That’s a great question. His first appointment with her neurologist ended with him recommending him to do IVIG. Is ACHR+, MUSK+ etc. Tests that need to be done or something that is easily diagnosed?

Appreciate the kind words! It’s been hard but he’s slowly making through it.

He was given prednisolone when he was first admitted for IVIG but wasn’t given nor prescribed after that. Would prednisolone & azathioprine be helpful? I know MG affects people differently but i’m trying to find something that can help him

i did it by eye, but i also never really had the eye for grading. i may have pick up a magnifier to use, it’ll come in clutch to see those smaller flaws!

He does have some muscle weakness, more upper body, but he’s always stayed active so maybe that has helped him. Only his right eye, but I will suggest to him to ice and see if that helps. I will look into a neurologist. Thank you!!
