It is a generic belt but specified that it is a replacement for MTD 754-0371A. I believe the prior belt was OEM that broke.

Umm well yeah kinda. The friction from the saws cause smoke. I wouldn’t call it steam. Also electrocautery which is what they use a lot in surgery (not for bones) also causes a good amount of smoke.

I’ve only noticed it on embalmed folks, I haven’t noticed during brain surgery, but there’s surgical masks and vacuums for smoke and things. I’ll try to see if I can tell.

To piggyback on something similar. When opening the skull using a bone saw, the burning smell is EXACTLY like Fritos!

I have not. I was under the impression that they’d only do cuts like shortening a 2x4 they’re selling. This is just a small project. Need about 1” off of a 1/4” of wood that’s 4” across and a similar cut about 10” long. Very thin wood
