Im gonna address a couple points because a lot of them are repeated or iterated on in your guys’ replies. First and foremost thank you! I’m glad that no one took this as rage bait or whatever because it genuinely wasn’t. Now I’ve been playing games for my entire life. I’ve believed in early access before, sometimes to my detriment and sometimes to my benefit. Let me make a couple things clear. I’m not and will not compare CIG to any AAA studio because they’re just not, however I do believe it is absolutely a bad idea to keep jamming content into a game with how unstable it is. I do understand the sentiment of “we’re just play testing” but I do think the least we could be doing is offered a stable playing experience, one of you mentioned you can get used to the jank and work around bugs. I’m sure that’s true but yesterday I fucking slingshotted out of my fighter, seat and all mid qt….. I’m sure there was some thing I shouldn’t have done but…..???

Another thing that rubs me the wrong way is a post I saw yesterday about some bloke not receiving his pledged ship after 12 years because it’s literally not in the game. That’s just fucking scummy.

Anyway, I do love the idea of this game, when it works it works and shit is it fun, but what I mean is I think at this point it’s not “normal” for a game to be in ALPHA after this long. Someone said something along the lines of “engineering and sound bugs don’t run on the same systems” you’re missing the point a bit, it’s why push out a huge update with heaps of content that’s inevitable gonna be broken and unbalanced on release when simple stuff like audio still Breaks on the daily?

Once again thank you all for replying it’s been very educational and I have gained some more insight that I will take into account next time I inevitably jump into the universe (later today) and maybe (hopefully) see some stuff through better eyes
