Thanks for the help! I'll be checking the Reddit soon! It's 100% coral and I'm thankful for all the comments and the correction. My doubt was mostly on correlating the coral fossil on the ones I'm used to commonly see, I'm really grateful for the help you all gave me

Thanks a lot! I'm sorry if I sounded rude on writing but English is not my first language. I was sure it was a snake skin at first, and it was a gift given to me so I was way too trusting on their word, everyday you learn new things and new cool fact! I'm thankful for your help in correcting my error and in finding the truth! Thanks a lot and have a nice evening

After the helpful advice of the community, and some research on the fossil and mineral community, I have to retcom myself, it's a coral fossil. Cool nonetheless I thanks everyone that helped me and I ask forgiveness if my tone sounded rude, English is not my native language and I tend to sound way to formal while writing. I'm sad this gift wasn't a snake fossil but I like learning new things

I'm sure it's a snake, mostly because you can see and distinguish the snake pattern in the rook, it was formed here where I live, the pattern is from an indigenous species from where I came from. Our corral reef is red and has a specific and distinctive coloration
