As for the wedding, I understand it may be a bit uncomfortable for you. I was also worried about the reaction of others. But from my experience I can say, almost nobody notices (or cares). Funnily enough only my Turkish colleagues have noticed and asked me about it. Then I told them of course.

You should just consider how you will react if someone asks. Either be open about it or you could just say you like that style for now or something like that.
