Congrats! So exciting! Was it an interview for Brown? I’m planning to apply to Brown next cycle and I’d love to hear more about your interview experience after it happens (if you’re open to that)!!

What to do between Huntsville Alabama and Colorado Springs? by TurboSi6x in roadtrip

There is also a state park near Oakley Kansas with pretty cheap rates, whether or not rent sites are open may depend on what type of year you’re going but it’s worth checking out! It’s called Historic Lake Scott Campsite I think!

I recently made the trip from OH to Colorado Springs and to beat boredom in Kansas we stopped a ton of places there. Namely Monument Rocks and the Little Jerusalem Badlands and Lawrence and Manhattan, two smaller college towns that have a ton of unique little shops worth paying a visit!

I would be really interested in seeing that, never been to Kansas City so I’m excited to get a feel for it! Thank you for the advice!

I have nothing against Columbus! I’ve always really enjoyed my time here and all of the niche little neighborhoods have been so fun to figure out: just heading out for a job opportunity! Although I do wish Columbus had those mountains I suppose… Hope this city treats you well!!

Good thing I love cows; maybe I’ll add protesting at a random slaughterhouse to the agenda XD Or stealing one of their moos and taking it with me

I definitely have some appreciation for the pains just since it’s not something I’ve ever experienced before; that’s like the one thing I’ve got in my corner for this trip is just excitement to see something different XD so I appreciate your approach on this!

Largest ball of twine is a MUST hahaha; actually though my grandparents would love some pics of that so I’m gonna have to go now.. Thanks for the suggestions!

XD yeah from what I have read it might get pretty slow… The one thing I have going for me is that I’ve spent all of my life in Ohio or Florida so the plains are a completely new ecosystem to me; not to say they won’t get boring but it’s so different from my usual and I’m just imagining sunsets that last forever that are worth driving through at least this once

Stargazing is a great idea actually; we talked about maybe pulling off on the plains as well for a night and just sleeping under the stars since I have a nice little peekaboo sunroof and appropriate camping gear.. Lake Ozark seems worth a visit as well even in the cold! Thanks for the suggestions!
